Phoenix Garcia (phogar) is an Asian-American, Latine designer working to spread fun and build human connections.
Known for loud colors and playful illustrations, Phoenix injects vibrancy into everything from individual stickers to entire mobile experiences. They draw inspiration from children’s books, shows, and games to design things that make people smile.
They love exploring identity regarding ethnicity and gender topics, often using their own experience as a queer person of color to help others feel less alone.
Phoenix believes in positive self-expression and empowering others to find confidence in themselves. Outside of design work, Phoenix enjoys experimenting with makeup, playing video games, and tending to their ever-increasing indoor garden.
They have recently earned their BFA in Graphic Design at the University of Florida.
